We held a Mother's Day face-to-face family gathering on Monday, May 6, and Tuesday, May 7, 2024. This event was held in conjunction with Family Support Day to help families and inmates connect and communicate, improve family relationship repair and function, and strengthen family support for inmates. Furthermore, to improve the effectiveness of inmate treatment and enable inmates' families to understand and utilize relevant social resources, the Taitung Branch of the Taiwan Rehabilitation Protection Association, the Taitung Branch of the Taiwan Rehabilitation Protection Association, and other organizations were invited to provide social welfare relief, drug prevention, rehabilitation services, and post-incarceration employment and entrepreneurship counseling. A total of 120 inmates and 248 family members participated.
